Pass it Along, Sparta, NJ

In order to Pay it Forward, you must first Pass it Along. This is the name of the group that helps to provide our youth with a sustainable environment where they are heard, and where they are understood. They not only do this, but also encourage teens to take part and action for the issues that they are most passionate about. They help the youth see the bigger picture in the world, making them more driven to make a change in not only their community, but the universe. They are enabled to help feed the hungry, build shelters for the homeless, and care for the animals that are broken. The staff of PIA and the students that are a part of it meet during retreats, seminars, and group meetings.
PIA is not only focused on volunteering, they are focused on the power of growing as a person, and an individual, they help the youth gain a sense of establishment, self-awareness, and gratitude. These unique traits help the volunteers to take these concepts that they’ll keep with them forever and share them amongst their community. PIA recognizes the great values of leadership, strength, and a sense of responsibility that is instilled in the youth. PIA offers workshops that will help them form leadership skills that will mobilize the teens in order for them to interact and connect with their family, peers, and later in life, businesses. PIA helps our youth get in touch with themselves now through goodness, and strength. They teach the teens to help those that are in need, and in return, the teens are shaped to become the successful young adults that they are able to become through empowerment, and belief.
