Happy Spring in Ogdensburg, NJ

Finally the weather is getting warmer and Spring has arrived. Here is your Ogdensburg, NJ guide to having a great Spring.

The first thing you think about when it comes to spring is generally Spring Cleaning. We have some great tips for you.

Tip #1: Pack Away Winter: Store all your winter stuff with us! Whether it is winter clothes, equipment, decorations, we can handle it all. Plus think about storing your car with us before the Spring floods.

Tip #2: Clean Your Closet: To start if you haven’t worn an item in two years, it is time to let it go. This will make organizing your closet much easier. Organize items by what type of item they are so you can find them easier. Pack your off season clothes away so your closet has more space.

Tip #3: Clean the curtains: Curtains have a way of being dust magnets. Use the extension on your vacuum cleaner or take them to a dry cleaner and get them professionally laundered.

Tip #4: Clean the cans: We remember to take out the trash but do we remember to clean the trash can itself? This is a no brainer considering what goes in these cans, but this is so easy to forget. Start by emptying the trash cans and hose them out outside. Then spray the interior with a disinfectant spray and scrub the inside with a long handled brush. Rinse and allow them to air dry and voila!

Tip #5: Clean the vacuum: Want your vacuum to have maximum staying power? We sure do! To do this be sure to changing the filter often. This helps prevent dust from flying back out of vacuum. Try using a HEPA filter which is a high-efficiency particulate air filter, it does a much better job at trapping particles than a normal filter.
